Each year, we have a new challenge when preparing to teach. In the area of Christian teaching, we prepare ourselves not only to share knowledge of the Word of God; but also to share testimonies, experiences, anecdotes, and thus form lives in what it means to be a Christian.
So, it is important to highlight education as an essential tool for the development of the Christian life, taking into account that this is one of the factors that most influences how God’s people grow as disciples of Christ. We also need to observe that we live in a world that challenges us to strive more and more to put Christian values into practice, and thus, to show Christ in our lives. We must remember, then, that as Christians, we must be forgers of a healthy coexistence; a mutual respect where the practice of Christian values is not a coincidence; but a conviction, that is, a change of life which we assume.
Therefore, it is important that through teaching, you can read and study the Word in depth, underscoring how we should live day by day, contributing to the transformation of people who live in a society that constantly is losing out on good values. This edition of The Path of Truth, like all previous editions, aims to always help you in this work of discipleship. However, it is imperative that each day we commit ourselves to guiding and motivating the disciples to show Christ in our daily lives. In this way, we will be helping to form a more just, more productive and more equitable society where Christians shine and show how to live differently, which will motivate others to seek God. It is our prayer that God will guide and accompany you in this wonderful work of forming disciples in the image and likeness of Christ. Cheer up! God is with you! “…for the gracious hand of his God was on him. For Ezra had devoted himself to the study and observance of the Law of the Lord, and to teaching its decrees and laws in Israel” (Ezra 7:9b10)
